The purpose of this blog is to talk about the importance of proper business communication.  NASA and Raytheon made a vital communication mistake using different units in 1999 during the mission to mars.  This resulted in a loss of $193.1M for the Climate Orbiter spacecraft, $42.8M for mission operations and $91.7M for the launch cost.  Our group will get into greater detail throughout the semester of where the wrong turn was made.
